School of Law, Justice, and Policy

Mission

The mission of the School of Law, Justice, and Policy is to prepare a diverse and dynamic generation of legal scholars, policymakers, and advocates committed to advancing justice, equity, and systemic reform. We aim to close justice gaps by equipping incarcerated individuals with tools to advocate for their rights, addressing the lack of legal representation for poor and rural communities, and fostering innovation in the legal profession. Through rigorous education and interdisciplinary research, we prepare students to excel in private, corporate, public, and constitutional law, equipping them to lead and adapt to an ever-changing legal and global landscape.

Vision

The School of Law, Justice, and Policy envisions a future where legal systems are inclusive, equitable, and accessible to all. We aspire to be a global leader in legal education, empowering our graduates to redefine justice and tackle emerging challenges in an interconnected world. By fostering diversity and preparing students for careers across all sectors of law, we aim to create leaders who are innovative, ethically driven, and dedicated to transformative change in service to society.
